Synopsis
“38” is the first Kazakh film dedicated to the lives and work of forest rangers. Marat, a devoted forest ranger, sees the forest as a national treasure that must be protected and preserved for future generations. His assistant Sayat, however, views it merely as a source of personal gain. As their opposing values collide, nature itself becomes more than just a backdrop — it emerges as a silent force with a voice of its own. “38” is a story about duty, responsibility, human choices, and the bond between people and nature.
