Synopsis

Sude, who has dedicated years to her family, is finally about to start a stable job. However, the mysterious disappearance of her mother-in-law brings to light secrets that have been buried for years. While searching for her mother-in-law, Sude must also maintain the delicate balance between love and sacrifice. Ensar Altay’s first feature-length fiction film, “Kanto,” which had its world premiere at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival, explores the delicate balance between family ties and individual freedom.
