Synopsis
"Farzana Goes West" is a historical war-drama feature film set in 1944, during the height of World War II. Based on true events, the story follows a courageous 14-year-old Bashkir girl named Farzana. Along with a group of local teenagers, she embarks on a heroic humanitarian mission: herding a flock of over 400 cows on foot from their small village in Bashkortostan all the way to a newly liberated region in Ukraine to help rebuild its devastated agriculture.
